Creative Artist Susan Seaborn
Susan Seaborn is passionate about watercolor, her work is known for its expressive use of color. Whether painting en plein air or in her studio, she paints fast yet deliberate to capture the essence of what is in front of her or recalled from a memory.
Susan wants the viewer to feel the energy and joy in her paintings. “For me, a successful watercolor painting will bring the viewer joy and possibly bringing back a fond memory”.
With over 30 years of painting with watercolor, Susan is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and love of watercolor. As an experienced teacher, she finds great joy in inspiring others, guiding students of all levels to develop their skills and confidence in the medium. She teaches several watercolor workshops throughout the year, in ND, MN, and AZ. She is an active member of Red River Watercolor Society, as a past president, board member, and presently the workshop chairperson.
Susan is a Signature member of Arizona Watercolor Association and Red River Watercolor Society. She is also a member of Art of the Lakes, Nevada Watercolor Society, Women in Watercolor, and Western Federation of Artists, and Outdoor Painters of Minnesota. She has been fortunate to participate in watercolor workshops from a variety of internationally known artists through RRWS, Nevada Watercolor Society, and Arizona Watercolor Association.
