Before You Enter the GVAL Members Show...

You must have your 2026/2027 membership paid before submitting your work into the show.  Membership information and payment.

Image Upload Tips: Make sure your image files are upload-ready by meeting these upload specifications.

  • File Type: JPEG or JPG only.
  • File Dimensions: at least 900 pixels (Ideally 1050 pixels) or greater on the longest side.
  • File Size: Under 5 MB

Image of Artwork: Show artwork only; do not include mat or frame. Artwork submitted will display in the online gallery exactly how you send it. Do not send work upside down.

Name of Artwork: In the art title field of the application, add the name of your art piece exactly how you want it to appear on the label.

Ensure your piece is completed, and remove it from any frames or glass coverings before photographing.  

Important dates:

  • Opening Reception: Sunday, October 4th from 2pm – 4pm
  • Show dates: October 4th – November 3rd
  • Art Drop off: Thursday October 1st (before the meeting) from 4:30 – 6:30pm
  • Art Pickup: Wednesday, November 4th after 10am
  • Application is FREE to all PAID UP dues members.
  • Not a juried show: All submitted (family friendly, non political) artwork is accepted.
  • Deadline for entries: September 23rd

Additional details:

  • Artwork submitted does not have to be done recently. 
  • Hanging artwork must not exceed 15lb.
  • All hanging work must be framed (gallery wrap canvas 1.5″ or more does not need to be framed).
  • All hanging work must be ready for hanging with the wire securely attached to the back.
