Cinco de Mayo

Suzy Muller and Michelle Cornelius had a fantastic time on Cinco de Mayo in Down Town Gilbert! They sat at a table and distributed information to the community about GVAL! Watching the children play in the fountain under the water tower was very entertaining. HALE Theatre was handing out FREE theatre passes.

Many conversations were held with high school children and their parents during the 1st Annual Gilbert High School Fundraiser for Transitional Assistance sponsored by GHS. The number of budding high school artists and talent on the street was amazing! Their art also filled two upstairs gallery spaces in the Heritage Court named, “Sublime Hysteria in a Broken World”. The two GVAL board members were photographed in the gallery for the upcoming issue of GO GILBERT magazine which will be published in July. They visited the 225 gallery and enjoyed all the eclectic art and jewelry there.

Tattoos were considered by the two to commemorate the occasion, but they settled for a delicious and FREE meal from Joe’s BBQ – what a great Wednesday evening in GILBERT, Arizona!
