May 2008 Meeting
Our monthly meeting will be on May 1st, 2008 with the regular meeting and speakers at 6:30 pm. There will not be a critique this month due to time constraints.
One of our speakers this month is George Lenz. George is retired after 40 years in the computer industry. One of his life’s desires has been to be a photographer. Approximately a year ago, he started working towards the goal of producing high quality photography. His mission is to provide high quality images that are pleasing to the eye by changing ordinary photography into fine works of art and providing pieces that one would be proud to display in one’s home or place of business.
George suggests that you bring your digital camera to the meeting. He will be going over the basic controls and will try to answer questions.
Our second speaker will be David Higley. David introduced himself to us at the end of the art show at the museum. He is a Frank Covina trained artist. David plans to talk with us about using glazing to enhance our oil landscapes.
