GVAL October 2 member meeting

Johann Zietsman, Executive Director of the Mesa Art Center, will speak about MACFest, an upcoming regularly scheduled Arts and Cultural Festival in Mesa

MACFest will be a series of seasonal, weekly celebrations aimed at placing Mesa among the state’s must-see destinations for artists exhibiting and selling their work in a family-oriented and entertaining environment. Art works such as paintings and crafts will be limited to the handiworks of their creators.

Exhibits, concessions and performances will be spread over parts of downtown’s Main Street and the Mesa Arts Center Shadow Walk, the popular tree-and-waterway-lined path through the heart of the center’s seven-acre campus.

The festival will be held every Saturday, beginning October 2008 to May 2009.
