Arizona Centennial Celebration: Submit Art to Celebrate Our Town

Be included in Gilbert’s Centennial Celebration Art Show.  The Gilbert Family Music and Art Festival will take place on February 17 and 18.  We are seeking art for a display in the foyer for those two days.  We are asking for you to submit your entries so that we know how many pieces and sizes we have, and need to set up for.  It is juried only to the extent that we include “family friendly” artwork.  The prospectus in attached.  There is no jury fee and no cost to enter.

When: February 17 to 18, 2012
Where: Higley Center for Performing arts.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Only original artwork, conceived and created by the entrant.
2. Artwork with a Gilbert – Past, Present, Future theme in any medium is eligible.
3. Maximum size: 36″ on any dimension (framed)
4. Two dimensional artwork must be finished, framed or gallery wrapped and wired ready to hang. (No alligator hooks please.)

How to Apply

1. Complete and sign the registration form. Click here to download it.
2. Email a copy of the registration form and a jpeg file of your art to GilbertArt@usa.com with “Centennial-Gilbert” in the subject line, or Mail a copy of the registration form and a CD containing a jpeg file of your artwork to: Centennial Art, 4736 S Marble Street, Gilbert, AZ 85297. CD will not be returned.
3. Registration forms must be received by February 1, 2012.
4. Artwork must be delivered to Higley Center for Performing Arts on February 17.
5. Artwork must be picked up from HCPA. Exact times will be forthcoming and you will be notified by email of drop-off and pick-up times.
6. No limit on number of entries. Complete a registration form for each artwork submitted.
