All GVAL members are able to show off their work on our website through an artist profile. To get yours, download and fill out the artist profile form and then email it to us with up to 6 images of your artwork. We will get it added in a jiffy.

Artists • Drawing • OilThough I work in oils, graphite and silver point, my “real job” is in the horse show industry and most of my work is commissions from that world and specialize in portraits of horses, pets and people. Horses and art have always been my two driving forces. The art I come by honestly as my mother and brother are both artists. The love of horses, however, was a family mystery. I began riding at 8 and continue to be active today, showing hunter/jumpers as well as riding dressage. My husband and I own 7 horses, several of which live with us at our home in Gilbert, AZ. along with 3 dog, 4 cats and assorted other creatures.
April Meeting: Presenter and Nominations
Meetings • NewsJoin us for the April membership meeting on Thursday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the Gilbert Historical Museum and help welcome renowned artist Raleigh Kinney. Raleigh is a skilled watercolor and plein air artist both of which he will discuss at the meeting. He has taught workshops and given presentations throughout the US. We will also be taking nominations for new GVAL board members. There are several positions available so it is a great opportunity to get more involved with the art community. (The positions marked with bold are open and available for nomination.)

There will be a limited number of printed copies available at the meeting and GVAL would also like to distribute them to the community.
