Her current practice is in everything related with visual and plastic art—landscaping, bodegons, crafts, and sculpture. She uses a diverse mix of media including oil, watercolor, pastel, sculpture, drawing, photography and tempera. Janette derives much inspiration from different cultures including Mexican, American, and European. She primarily exhibits in Mexico and the US. She also has works in held in both private and public collections.
