Profile: Sandra Neumann Wilderman
Acrylic • ArtistsSandra Neumann Wilderman’s approach to painting is to pour layers of liquid acrylics onto wet paper or canvas creating biomorphic shapes and linear sharpness. Her earliest poured paintings are bold and abstract followed by her atmospheric illusion series. After 9/11 she began to experiment with various techniques, formats and compositions and developed the symbolic paintings which include her flag tower and cross series. Three years ago, Wilderman started weaving two poured paintings together to create a new, geometric and textural composition. And currently, she is combining the processes of pouring and painting directly on canvas and paper with acrylic and watercolor. (more…)
Profile: Jim Davis
Alternative • ArtistsJim Davis is an Arizona resident and a man of many hats, from auto body repairman and painter to machinist, and race car driver. He started college at 27 and went on to teach at the University of California, Irvine. He is a scientist, and author of many scientific articles as well as a children’s book. Now in retirement, Jim is expressing his lifelong passion for metal shaping with copper renditions of vintage racecars, wildlife and images from Native American culture.

Alternative • ArtistsJenny Reyes-Heath is a Mexican-American born in Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico who now resides in Gilbert, AZ. She has been knowingly creating artworks since the age of 10. Her current practice is in everything related with visual and plastic art—landscaping, bodegons, crafts, and sculpture. She uses a diverse mix of media including oil, watercolor, pastel, sculpture, drawing, photography and tempera. Janette derives much inspiration from different cultures including Mexican, American, and European. She primarily exhibits in Mexico and the US. She also has works in held in both private and public collections.
